Effect of Different Types of Occlusion on the Supporting Structures of Mandibular Overdenture Retained by Two Splinted Mini-Implants

Objective: To evaluate and compare the effect of lingualized occlusion monoplane on theperi-implant bone level mandibular overdenture retained by two splinted mini-implants using Cone BeamComputed Tomography(CBCT).Methodology: Fourteen completely edentulous patients were divided randomly into equal groups: GroupI received Mini-implant retaining overdentures with their occlusal scheme set accordingto concept.Group II withtheir according to concept. The peri-implant marginal loss wasevaluated at zero, six twelve months from time loading CBCT.Findings: crestal around in Monoplane group is higher than Lingualized groupwith no significant difference.Conclusion: In case overdenture,type has noeffect supporting structures.
